First User Group Event

SALERO (presentation, pdf, 1.8 MB) aims at making cross media-production for games, movies and broadcast faster, better and cheaper by combining computer graphics, language technology, semantic web technologies as well as content based search and retrieval.

The Music Technology Group (MTG) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra will host the First User Group Event of the SALERO project. We would be honored if you attend.

The purpose of the first User Group Event is to introduce the project to industry representatives and to gather feedback. During the event the participants will get a presentation on the project, hands-on demonstration of the tools as well as future plans. Based on this, a discussion will analyze suitability of tools to the task, usability, comprehensiveness of function set, integration in the workflow process, and requirements from your point of view.

Participation in this User Group Event is free of charge but we would kindly request that you register per e-mail at
oscar.celma@iua.upf.edu.

Hotels close to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Estacio de Franca building).

We will reimburse travel costs for user group members (travel and one night of hotel) after submission of the travel ticket and hotel bill:

• Arrival from Spain: up to a maximum amount of €350,- (but not more than real costs)
• Arrival from foreign countries: up to a maximum amount of €500,- (but not more than real costs)

Reimbursement is available for a limited number of attendees and is allocated on a first come first serve basis. If you have further questions regarding reimbursement, please contact Peter Stansfield.
